Who We Are?
Nepal Ghising Society is a community organization that connects and unites Ghising families around the world. We take pride in our shared ancestry, tracing back to our forefather Pitri Gopkyu Dorje Remboche. Today, it is estimated that nearly 600,000 descendants of this lineage are living across different parts of Nepal and abroad. As generations migrated to new places, our traditions, culture, language, and customs began to develop in different ways. To preserve these ancestral values while adapting them to modern times, the Society was founded in 2001 (2058 B.S.) with the vision of: Promoting unity and brotherhood among all Ghising families Preserving and revitalizing our heritage and culture Supporting education, health, and economic development Restoring our ancestral homeland, Talchui Fort Our Journey 2001 (2058 B.S.): Society established 2013 (2070 B.S.): Official legal registration completed 2018 (Magh 2074 B.S.): First National Convention successfully held Today Nepal Ghising Society is led by an 11-member executive committee under the leadership of Mr. L. B. Ghising. The Society has expanded its reach across Nepal at both federal and local levels, and has also grown internationally. Local committees have been formed in various regions, all working under the central constitution to serve the community with unity and purpose. Together, we strive to honor our past, strengthen our present, and build a better future for generations to come.
